📌Adhesion is the process in which two different molecules cling together due to attractive forces such as chemical, mechanical, polar or combination of three.
♦️Adhesion by Phosphating Layer
This layer is adherent phosphating conversion coating formed on steel by immersion acidic solution. Normally used for Carbon steel products.
♦️Adhesion by Chromating Layer……
Chromating is the surface treatment for Aluminium, Zinc and Magnesium, this develops a very thin layer and its act as adhesion promoters for coating.
♦️Adhesion by Blasted anchor profile…..
The roughened surface created by grit blasting process and its mechanical force creates better surface for adhesion. This is used for CS and SS metal surfaces.
♦️Adhesion by Metallurgical reaction….
Galvanizing is the process of immersion steel in molten zinc bath to produce multi-layered coating of zinc iron alloy and zinc metal.
♦️Adhesion by Electrochemical reaction…..
Generally considered as a result of interaction of metal atoms and it shows favourable adhesion in the interface due to existence of metal-metal bond.
